Summary
From October 1st to 3rd, 2023, the OPSAC Annual Congress took place in Saskatoon. The event consisted of conferences, panels, and workshops presented by eight speakers, two hosts, and two moderators. The theme of the Xth edition was “Making a Commitment to Redistribution.” The congress aimed to revisit the way arts are funded, considering the long-standing methods in place.
Julie Bérubé participated during the second day. She took part in the panel “What Would Redistribution Mean for Non-Urban Artists and Organizations?”, a discussion moderated by Anne-Marie Jean from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ).
