Summary

In 2020, as the world grapples with the COVID-19 crisis, Marc-Antoine Massicotte, Chief Executive Officer of Grands Feux Casino Lac-Leamy, decides to illuminate the sky of an entire city in Outaouais. He envisions a special edition of the annual fireworks show. Under normal circumstances, this event, spread over five nights, attracts an average of 40,000 spectators and has a budget of over 2 million dollars. The case retraces all the stages of the event, called Illumination. It recalls the announcement in April of the cancellation of all summer events in Quebec, narrates the ideation of the unifying project, and follows its evolution until the post-event assessment.
